Development of the Cybercrime and Cyberterrorism research roadmap
This research roadmap has been developed as part of the CyberROAD research project (grant agreement no. 607642). CyberROAD is a research project funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme. The project is aimed to identify current and future issues in the fight against cyber-crime and cyber-terrorism in order to draw a strategic roadmap for cyber security research. The present section of the site reports a detailed snapshot of the technological, social, economic, political, and legal scenario of cyber crime and cyber terrorism. The roadmap has been divided into 19 Research Topics (RT), each one containing a list of suggested Research Actions (RA), emerged from the analysis of the partners. Each RT is a standalone document that contains the list of gaps it handle, an abstract, a list of corresponding Research Actions and a corresponding GANTT.
INSTRUCTIONS:
This is an interactive representation of the roadmap which reports several Research Topics, each one represented with its own icon on top of a “skyscraper”. You can select each “skyscraper” in the roadmap to view further details (the suggested GANTT of Research Actions, view the abstract or download the full Research Topic). The stars (the range is from 1 to 5) associated with each RT as well as the highness of the skyscraper, represent its priority, according to the risk metric developed inside the project (Deliverable D2.2): the taller is the skyscraper the higher is its suggested priority. Moreover, in the topmost right corner an always available "LIST VIEW" button reports a sorted list of the Research Topics with their scoring.
For further details please refer to the following deliverables:
- D5.6 Cybercrime research topics
- D6.6 Cyberterrorism research topics
- D3.3 Social economic Legal research topics
- D2.2 Risk assessment ranking methodology
